Van Halteren Metaal acquires Bosch Rexroth project-based business in Boxtel and continues as Van Halteren Technologies As announced on September 30, 2021, the Large Projects business of Bosch Rexroth in Boxtel was officially taken over on June 1st by the Dutch Van Halteren Group, based in Bunschoten. The new name is ‘Van Halteren Technologies Boxtel’. The activities remain unchanged: developing and producing large cylinders and executing large projects in Marine & Offshore, Civil Engineering, Motion & Research Technology and Renewable Energy. The company also provides the corresponding services. All approximately 250 employees of the project company in Boxtel have been taken over by Van Halteren Technologies. Van Halteren Technologies is a Dutch family business that has been active in the industrial sector for more than 50 years and also in the projects business for many years. 'Over the past few months, together with all colleagues, we worked hard to arrange this complex takeover. In the meantime, we prepared Large Projects for an autonomous existence, outside the Bosch Rexroth Group. This means developing our own marketing and sales department, our own website and creating a new worldwide sales network to market our company's unique products. And all this after June 1st, under the name Van Halteren Technologies', says Durk-Jan Nederlof, Managing Director. ‘The acquisition of the Large Projects business of Bosch Rexroth in Boxtel is a great opportunity for us and fits in with the growth strategy of the corporate group. It is an important extension of our existing product portfolio in the field of industrial technology and will give us a boost on the road to further growth and diversification, for example in the fields of motion simulation, infrastructure projects, renewable energy, and energy management solutions. We are looking forward to adding experienced colleagues and their expertise to our team. Given the growing diversity of our products, in which technology is the common thread, we will continue under the name Van Halteren Technologies’ – Izaak Veerman, CEO of Van Halteren Technologies. The Bosch Group remains at the existing Boxtel location after the sale of the Large Projects activities.
