NBC / CBRN Filter Systems for naval applications
Collective protection (COLPRO) against Nuclear, Biological and Chemical (NBC/CBRN) agents is provided by our NBC Unit. The system has an impregnated activated carbon filter, a lifesaving CBRN filtration system capable of offering continuous collective protection to the crew inside the vessel. Utilizing minimally aging carbon the system efficiently eliminates warfare agents, TICs and TIMs (Toxic Industrial Chemicals & Materials) from the air.

Key Features of Our NBC / CBRN Filter Systems
Water separators drain water droplets out of the fresh air and returning it outward.
The blast valves are protecting interior against shock waves.
Washable pre-filters filter larger particles from the air.
Fine filters prevent HEPA filters in NBC filters from clogging too quickly.
This heater controls relative humidity and minimum temperature.
The centrifugal fan supplies air (with an overpressure of 500 Pa) to the citadel.
The gas-tight valves are manually or automatically operated valves inside the unit with an external operated shut-off valve.
THE NBC filters comply with STANAG 4447 or AEP 54, one element per 300 m3/h air flow.
These are connected by bus to IPBMS with a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), to operate/monitor the Unit.
